ABOUT
Studies show that mindful time in nature can lower stress, improve mood, boost immunity, and increase clarity. Forest therapy combines these benefits with guided practices to help you receive nature’s healing more fully.
MEET JOHANNA
Johanna Plummer is the founder of Tree Time and a certified Mindful Outdoor Guide through the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership. She is currently completing her certification with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) to become a Nature and Forest Therapy Guide. She believes that time spent in nature can transform the way we relate to ourselves, to one another, and to the planet.
Johanna also serves as a volunteer Garden Educator at the Morris Arboretum & Gardens of the University of Pennsylvania, where she draws on her previous experience as a museum educator to engage students and inspire curiosity about the natural world. Through hands-on learning and thoughtful exploration, she encourages people of all ages to consider why trees—and our relationship with them—are so important.
